We are in a phase of development and growth with a high investment rate in both technology and machinery. About the Role

We are now looking for a TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE / Project Manager who wants to take an active role in our continued business development. You will be part of a sales team of four people and have overall responsibility for driving business and projects from the first customer contact to delivered technical solutions. The role includes working with existing customers while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will transform customer needs into technically refined and competitive production solutions in close dialogue with the customer. The work spans the entire process – from inquiry, technical proposal, and calculation to quotation, order, production, and follow-up. You will continuously work with forecasts and price negotiations and are expected to contribute ideas regarding technical solutions and improvements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in the sales team and especially with functions such as quality, tools, order/planning, and production. The cross-functional collaboration is an important part of SMEMO's way of working. The position has a clear project management character, which means that you will largely be on-site with us in Hillerstorp to be close to the operations. Customer visits will gradually become a natural part of the role.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference – and has the drive to both develop business and manage projects. You have a technical background from the manufacturing industry and experience with industrial processes in a customer-oriented collaboration. You combine business understanding with a genuine technical interest and have the ability to structure and drive parallel processes/projects. Experience in sheet metal processing is an advantage. You work methodically, are used to documenting, and have a communicative and relationship-building approach. The English language is natural for you, and you are comfortable in an international context.
